3 weeks and counting

So I decided the whole uniform thing might not be such a bad thing. On Tuesday my girlfriend and I got a babysitter and finished the rest of our school shopping. Children's Place had the cutest skirts and the sweetest little sweater. So I stocked up on the few items I was missing, and now we're good to go! When I came home, Ellie was so excited to see what I got that she had to try everything on right then (see how Sadie is still in her car seat). After dinner she even did a fashion show for Dustin of all her clothes. I'm happy to report she likes what I bought -- even if it isn't pink and doesn't have flowers or butterflies. Plus I think she looks so stinking cute and so darn grown up.

Love the uniform! I had no idea that The Children's Place sold uniforms! I need to make a run there before we move since Carly will make the dedline for school down in Chile. Your blog(and life for that matter) is amazing! I literally don't know how you do it all! Wow-wee!

Awww- so cute! The sweater looks like a "mini-Maddy" sweater- perfect! Of course, she won't need it till November... ;)

I know she won't need it until November, but in November, you won't be able to buy it since uniforms are "seasonal." It feels weird to be buying tights when it's 114 out!

She is so so cute! Now, will she be going to a private school or do all schools require uniforms in Arizona. I know that in Vegas before we moved, a lot of public schools were moving to uniforms. Seriously cute. Our children need to meet each other. Do I hear arranged marriage?

Kasia -- It's a public school but one that you opt to send your kids too (ie not the school she is zoned for), so it's much more strict than a traditional school out here. Most schools don't require a strict uniform out here unless they are a charter school or one of these "Traditional Academies."

Awww she does look so grown up! I remember being really excited when Megan went to a school with uniforms when she was in kindergarten too! :) It was fun shopping for three colors!

She looks so adorable!!!

OH! And even though you think you have enough tights.... go get more!!!

I am totally NOT kidding. You won't be able to find them when you need replacements during the winter. It sucks!!!

I even broke the rules once because the ONLY tights I could find in January were blue with red and orange flowers on them. It was all I could find!!

The knees go out on them pretty quick with all of the kindergarten stuff they do.
