What we did this week

When Luke came early, I thought summer would just drag until our families made it out for the 4th of July. Instead it has flown by! I can't believe it's the weekend already and I have a 3 week old. 3 weeks isn't too old to use the newborn excuses still -- right??

So what have we been up to?

* Shopping for the kids plane trip back East. If you don't know, my parents are taking the older 3 home with them for a little bit after their trip out here to meet Luke and the blessing.

* Playing at Brody and Sadie's

* Doctor's visit -- we're up to 6 lbs 11.5 oz. Next visit is July 6th.
* Luke's first night out on the town. We got a babysitter for the big kids and went out for dinner and dessert with Luke.

* Summer movies

* Swimming in the backyard
* Day Camp
Pirates and Princesses day

* Dance for Ellie

* Brady and Bailey over to play

* Amins over for dinner (don't worry, they brought it and cooked it here)
* Swimming at Rickie's. Luke slept the whole time, Nate and Ellie can swim and Sadie just followed the Haymond kids around so I was loving it.

* Sadie took a nap in a big girl bed. I'm hoping to get the girl's room all repainted, Sadie a big girl bed and move the crib into Nate's room while the kids are back East

And now to sit back, try and get some sleep and enjoy the weekend.

It's been a busy week! Hope you got some rest on Wednesday! Can't wait to see your parents when they come and I'm excited for you to have a few weeks to spend just with Luke. What on earth will you do? Well, besides, painting and rearranging things?

Gosh you make having 4 kids seems so easy! I can't believe you will have a couple weeks without the big kids. What are you going to do with yourself?! I'm sure you will find lots.
I know what you mean...the weeks just go by so fast in the summer! That's a bad thing for us...:(

So it's not my imagination...he DID come early!

You certainly have done a lot considering you have a newborn! Glad your summer is flying by and that you will get some time to focus on just you and Luke. How fun that your older kids get a vacation with your parents! I'm very jealous.

Is Sadie naked in that pool? I'm glad everything is on the upswing now. What will you do without all those kids for a couple of weeks? It sounds so good but I know you'll miss them.

That will be really nice for you to just have the baby for a little while. I know you'll miss the kids like crazy, but seriously, enjoy the time!

Luke is soooo adorable. I wanted to hold him so bad when we all were at the Tyler's but he looked to peaceful sleeping to interupt. I am so glad things are on the upswing now with little Luke.

Your kids are all so adorable and all look so much alike!

If you need anything, we are just a jump, skip, and a hop away!

I know everyone has said it already, but Luke is gorgeous!! He looks like he could be in an Anne Geddes picture :).

Sounds like things are going well, and how fun for your kids to get to go to your parents for a little while. It will probably be nice for you to just have the baby to worry about for a bit.
