Exhausted

OK, am I the only one FREAKING OUT because it's the end of June? How the heck did that happen? I'm feeling like summer is crazier than the school year. I know we've been busy because even Nate has been sleeping in and falling asleep on the couch. Sadie woke up from her nap and thought it was just so funny that Nate was asleep. I can't believe he stayed asleep with her climbing all over him.

Anyway, I think this little story illustrates our summer fun.

The other night I was putting Ellie to bed and asking her what her favorite part of the day was.

Ellie: Staying up late. Can I stay up even later? I'm not tired.

Me: That's your favorite part of the whole day???
*I'm kind of in shock because dang did I plan a lot of fun things that day*

Ellie: Uhhhhh, what did I do today?

Me: Well you woke up and you got left over cake for breakfast. . .

Ellie: Oh yeah, that was fun.

Me: Then we went to the gym, and then you went over to Hannah's for the rest of the morning and lunch. . .

Ellie: Oh yeah, I forgot about that.

Me: Then we went swimming for a few hours and you came home and Lindsay came over for the whole night, and you got new clothes, and Daddy bought you donuts and you stayed up late and watched a movie. . .

Ellie: Oh. I need to go to bed now. I'm exhausted.

I'm laughing my face off that you had to remind her of all the fun she had, and that reminded her that she was tired! Too cute!
And I am freaking out, also, that June is gone! Where did it go????

Haha!! That is too funny! I heart Ellie. How nice to have a mom-helper! The egg thing on my blog cracked me up. Seriously...who doesn't eat eggs and bacon at least once or twice a week in the summer, and rotate in cereal on the off days??!! Glad to know we aren't alone in that one!

oh...and you got your 1 picture of me in my swimsuit (kind of) on my blog if you are dying to see it. I ended up sewing up the cleavage area some. I felt a bit too saggy booby in it. And the pads in it are killing me. They keep shifting around. I need to sew them in too.
Happy almost weekend!

At least your shot was for Casey. Mine was for the life guard going down the slide. It resulted in almost 2 drowned children and water up all of our noses. BAD!!

I took the pads out, but then felt like I had permanent THO. So then what do I do??!! Like I said..I HATE swim suit season!!

You are no longer a reader of thepacepace.blogspot.com due to "personal" reasons. Hope one day everyone can just get along! :)

Oh my gosh, Chelsea, I'm dying! I was going to say that I "flagged" your blog, but you don't allow anonymous comments. Plus I'm no longer a reader :P

No! You are not the only one freaking out that June is pretty much over! A week from today (Friday) is the Forth of July, I am not joking belive me I have checked the calander like 58 times. I can't believe it! But all in all it's been a fun summer and we still got a little more to go. Hopefully we all last untill them :)

PS. You and Chelsea are too funny!

I can't believe June is over too, and even on a normal summer I agree that it is a lot more busy and stressful than school time. The one thing I never get tired of is being able to sleep in past 6:00in the morning.

I love the story about Ellie! Heck, can I come to your house? It sounds like so much fun!

I was just realizing that school starts in exactly a month.....YIKES!! I wish I was as busy as Ellie with all the fun stuff!

NO!

Good morning! :) We commented on Janel's at the same time. How cute. Maybe we can be friends again?

HAHAHA thank you for commenting. I just must say the only reason I have to "find ways" to get to certain places on my to do list is because my life is so boring and responsibility-less right now. If I had a lovely adoring family like you do, or if I had to support myself even I would have way more things to do. me having extravagant things on my to do list has nothing to do with being nice - it's that I haven't entered the real world yet! HAHA!!! i love the dialogue between you and Ellie. She's the kind of girl who could have her own TV show on the Disney channel. Have you guys seen iCarly?! hahahaha

That photo is hysterical, and the story is even funnier!

Ssshhh- I'm happy June is just about over... ;)

Hey Maddy, Your kids make me laugh. Goblin Valley-yes I have been there. Of course it is beautiful but basically just a bunch of rocks stacked on top of each other. Have you seen the movie...I am drawing a blank. Tim Allen, Sigourny Weaver, ah yes Galaxy Quest. There is a part in the movie where Tim Allen is fighting a huge rock monster. That is Goblin Valley.
