After we put Nate down for the night, we let Sadie lay in Ellie's bed for awhile and cuddle. Ellie takes the time to tell her stories, sing songs, smother her with stuffed animals. . . Last night she decided to tell Sadie about Jesus.
You lived with Jesus before Mommy popped you out. You have to be good so you can live with Jesus again. Jesus lives in your heart and in Heaven. Heaven is a very high place. Through space I think.

Ah! Even though Ellie believes heaven is a very high place, I'm pretty sure it's right here on earth with beautiful and sweet spirits like my wonderful grandkids! Give them hugs and kisses from Grandma and let them know we can't wait to see them! Love you all! Grandma

We do a similar thing with Carly and Wesley except we hear things like, "Mom! He's bugging me!" and
"MOM, HE'S PULLING MY HAIR!"
Ammon and I think it's good to let Wesley retaliate every now and again!
I love it when little kids get spiritual, and explain, the best they know how, about things like that. Just reading that made me appreciate how sweet little children are.
Where did Ellie learn that "popped you out" thing?? Interesting!
