So I had every intention of getting a picture of me in the dress, but by the time I got back with the babysitter, we were in such a hurry to get out of here that I totally forgot. It's really not that fantastic! I promise. Last night was so fun though. I can't believe how much food I ate! They had all these great places cater the food and they had little sampling plates. When it's little bites, you don't realize how much food you're eating. So good! I'm all about the desserts though, so I always had more room for those.
But the big news of the weekend -- Nate!
For some reason I decided that this weekend we were going to move him into a big bed. Of course I decided that he should have Ellie's bed and we would get her a new bed. So we took down Ellie's bed, moved it into Nate's room and then realized that I didn't have a plan for when to get Ellie a bed. Being Conference weekend and all, there wasn't any time to go bed shopping, so she's now sleeping in Nate's crib, with the front taken off. I offered her the guest bed, but she's actually excited about sleeping in the crib. My daughter is crazy.
And of course -- the potty training. My son is wearing underwear! WOO HOO! It's actually going really well. I haven't braved nap time yet and we haven't gone out in underwear, but this may actually HAPPEN! Cross your fingers and knock on wood.

The crib? Now that Ellie is sleeping in it, you have to add her name to the bottom somewhere! ;)
Go Nate!! That is awesome! You are a far better mom than I. I was so afraid of boy potty training. He looks so cute in that big bed!
WOOT! WOOT! Go Nate! LOL
nate looks too grown up now! hopefully you won't have what i call "the dallas syndrome" when dallas was young he figured he could pee anywhere. in the parking lot, on the sidewalk, at an outdoor vendor's site. i could go on--but i won't! :)
woo hoo! love that butt pic! ;) hope the potty training is going well!
UGH! I hadn't even thought of that lisa! I taught him to pee sitting down, so maybe he won't catch on to the whole standing up thing. He is really concerned as to why his underwear has a hole in the front though. It really botthers him.
Kerry -- she got in the crib for about 2 minutes before she came out and told us she'd be sleeping in the office. So I guess she's not so crazy after all.
Yippeeeee!!! That's so exciting!!! Keep being persistent...He'll be totally potty trained before you know it!!!
I am so excited that Nate's moving on up in the world! I have decided that I perfer standing too pee for Carter. It's way easier.
I love his booty shot too!
How old is he now?!? Neither of my boys were potty trained until after they were 3. I still take Little J to the bathroom before I go to bed just to ward off any accidents at night. Good luck with that!
Tara - he's 3 in 3 weeks. Ellie was so stinking easy to train that I am pulling my hair out over this one.
Maddy, when I potty trained Corbin I taught him to SIT! I really didn't want to have to worry about the extra mess!!!!! It was a long time before he figured out that he could stand. It was nice by then he could actually reach the toilet by standing.... if you know what I mean! When they are first potty trained they are so small that their ****** dosen't even reach over the top of the toilet!
Woo-hoo is right! Cute bedding.
So I guess this means that you don't need the crib that's been sitting in my garage for Michelle then you to use? This thing is finally getting donated! Haha. ;)
Love the butt pic- great for blackmail when he's a teenager...
