Boo!

It's a good thing I decided to decorate for Halloween this year because I forgot how much Nate loves Halloween. He's been wearing his Halloween shirts and socks for the last few days and sleeping with the Pottery Barn Halloween catalog. He even ditched his Thomas birthday party and wants a Halloween party now. That works well because I already bought all the goodie bag stuff and it's Halloween themed.

Dustin's parents were in town last week/weekend and we had fun seeing them. Dustin made his famous Conference breakfast, so it was good to have people to share the calories with. Ellie got to help Grandma bake some cookies, which is always a treat since I don't bake much. Grandma and Papa even brought the kids some pumpkins for us to decorate as part of our Halloween fun!

My mom sent us a great Halloween package with socks and a spooky CD plus gummy eyeballs. Those eyeballs were a life saver when I first started potty training Nate. He would do ANYTHING to eat them. And then he would chase Ellie around the house with his mouth open and full of smashed up eyeball while she screamed. I guess brothers are made to terrorize their sisters, no matter the age!

At first Sadie loved her socks and she couldn't stop touching them, but once she tried to crawl on the tile, the novelty was gone. She kept slipping and falling on her face, poor little girls. So just one more reason why we don't own socks! She does look cute though.

Poor Sadie crash and burn! I agree with the no sock thing. We only wear them to church on Sunday's! Too many bad falls with the old house and travertine.

Your pictures aren't working...but I have a great imagination so I guessed what the pictures were! :) I love love love packages and family visits! I am glad you got both this weekend!

Your decorations are so cute! I bought decorations about 3 weeks ago and they're still sitting in the back of my car. I guess I'm in denial that it's already October!
Sadie is so cute! I'm sad we couldn't meet her when we were in Arizona. Hopefully soon we'll be able to see your cute family! Oh, and where did you get the gummy eyeballs? They look nasty...yet super fun! Miss you!

You ar so good at doing a weekend wrap up! I need to be better at journaling. Cute Halloween decor!! I will be going to Target soon to hopefully copy everything!! Haha!
I forgot to tell you thanks for the dinner recomendation in Sedona. We totally went and it was really fun. Quite a long wait but we had nothing else to do so it worked out fine. We didn't do a good job planning but we still had fun. Sedona is a very different place...very hippy-ish!

Yes, another parent who's kids don't wear socks. Here in Chile, I get stares and points because Wesley doesn't wear socks or shoes. He screams at the top of his lungs if I put them on him so I choose my battles.

I love those cute little PURPLE socks! Do you think Sadie would let me borrow them? Oh and we tried those gum balls last year--creepy!

I got to see Sadie's cute elvis smile, but not the other 2. Maybe your blog is anti-chelsea stalking!
